Ode to a Shepherd...

To celebrate the release of my new book, my son Ashley has written three compositions, 'Ode to a Shepherd', 'Song for Madeleine', and 'Birdsong' which he performs on his classical guitar in our George Farris shepherd's hut.

Visiting Sybil and presenting her with a copy of my book has been especially rewarding. Sybil, who is 98 years old, used to visit her grandfather, George Farris, at the Coombe Bissett Steam Plough Works.
